About Dr. SudlerMy name is Dr. Dawn Sudler. I am originally from Wilmington, Delaware. I have 32 years of experience as an educator and mentor. My teaching experiences range from 22 years in DeKalb County teaching 7th and 5th grades respectively. While in Gwinnett County, I have six years experience teaching 5th grade and I also have recently completed five years teaching fourth grade. This is my seventh year at Henderson Mill Elementary and I am looking forward to working with your child this school year.
I have received my degrees in Masters of Instruction, a Specialist in Administration and Supervision, and a PhD in Education with a Specialization in K-12 Leadership. My certifications range from Early Childhood; Middle Grades; SP ED General Curriculum (K-12); Ed. Leadership (K-12); Gifted. My philosophy is to form a relationship with structure and trust, so that I can guide students through their fifth grade year successfully. Also, to bring out the best in every child, no matter what level they are on as long as they continue to work hard. It is my goal, not only for your child to be prepared for middle school academically, but to become a leader who accomplishes any goal(s) that they may have. Sincerely, Dr. Dawn Sudler |
